Absolutely wonderful setting, well-trained staff.
Location close enough to an old town on top of a mountain, the mountains of Varese and Verese town centre. Also, in the valley.

The decoration of the hotel was simply exquisite. The elegant hall, adorned with authentic Art Nouveau style, was like stepping back in time. The warm glow of the 87 beautifully lit candles created a truly romantic atmosphere, perfect for any senior couple looking for a memorable stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel in the picturesque old town made it easily accessible for senior people to explore the charming streets and enjoy the beauty of Italy.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. While the staff was friendly, it would have been helpful to have additional support, especially when it came to finding the hotel and parking in the tiny village.

A Feast for the Senses: The hotel restaurant offers a delicious five-course tasting menu called "Belle Epoque." It was a gourmet dining experience that tantalized all my senses. Each dish was like a work of art, carefully crafted to perfection, and the flavors were so exquisite that they danced on my taste buds. It was like being transported to a different era, a romantic journey through time, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains. The restaurant's unique and elegant decor, with its beautiful frescoes and terrace overlooking the picturesque surroundings, added to the magical ambiance.
Minor Noise Issue: Our room was located below the dinner room, which caused a bit of noise during meal times. However, this was a very minor inconvenience and did not significantly affect our overall stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views over the surrounding hills. It was like being in a fairytale, staying in an old town on top of a mountain. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent service from room service to housekeeping. They even offered a shuttle service and tours/ticket assistance, making our stay even more convenient. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, a lovely touch after a long journey. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with amenities like heating, a mini-bar, and a cozy sitting area. We particularly enjoyed the terrace with its garden furniture, where we could sip our morning coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery. The hotel had everything we needed, from free toiletries to an am/fm alarm clock and a flat-screen TV. The parquet flooring added a touch of elegance to the room and we loved the old-fashioned room key. The dining options were excellent, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area serving delicious breakfast and snacks. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and the leisure garden area provided the perfect spot for relaxation. The hotel also had convenient amenities like free Wi-Fi and luggage storage.
We highly recommend this hotel to families seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

A truly memorable dining experience. During our stay at Al Borducan, we had one of the most extraordinary dining experiences. The food was exceptional, surpassing our expectations and rivaling some of the best meals we've ever had. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were impeccable. The restaurant, with its 1920s ambiance and breathtaking views, created a truly romantic and unique atmosphere. We were blown away by the combination of exceptional food and stunning surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable dining experience.

Friendly staff, and a beautiful view from the hotel room. The breakfast and overall cleanliness were also satisfactory. Convenient location, it's not too far to travel to the nearby town, and the quiet ambiance was very relaxing.
The dinner was unsatisfactory, with a lack of food options to choose from. it was quite expensive.
